Meet Jason

Get to Know Jason Money

Father, coach, executive, volunteer, entrepreneur… learn about Jason’s experience, and his service to the City of Frisco.

Jason grew up in McKinney and graduated from McKinney High School, where he played football and ran track. He went to University of Louisville on a track and field scholarship, before returning to North Texas to complete his degree at UNT. Jason has a bachelor’s in business administration. Whether through scholarship or his own earnings, Jason’s education was completely self-funded. He was raised by a single mom in modest circumstances, and is driven to succeed by his own enterprise and initiative.

Jason’s daughters are the light of his life. Both attended Frisco ISD schools (Pink, Griffin, Wakeland). Presley, 16, is a sophomore at Wakeland. Miranda, 19, is a freshman at Stephen F. Austin State University, where she is on a track scholarship.

In 2006, Jason and Heather Money and Reggie Bush started the Frisco Heat, borne of a desire to create an organization to coach young athletes in track and field in the city of Frisco.  As interest in the team increased, Frisco Heat grew to over 200 athletes and 20+ coaches — a combination of past collegiate and professional competitors along with extremely dedicated parent coaches, many who are USA Track and Field certified.  Jason is still active on the Board and as an Assistant Head Coach.

Jason’s additional volunteering over 20+ years in Frisco is diverse and deep:

  • Frisco Community Development Corporation, Board of Directors, 2011-2015
  • FISD Watch D.O.G.S. Dad, Pink Elementary and Griffin MS, 2010-2014
  • Leadership Frisco Class XIII, Graduate, 2009-2010
  • Frisco Counts Census Committee, 2010
  • Griffin Parc HOA Board, President, Vice-President 2007-2016
  • Hillcrest Estates (Cecile Place) HOA Board, President, Vice-President 2001-2006
  • Prestmont HOA Board, President, Vice-President 1997-2000

Jason has spent over 20 years as an innovator in the healthcare and biomedical space.

He is the founder and president for Mercury Innovations, LLC, Emerging Molecular Technologies, LLC and Money G Holdings, LLC; which own, consult and market for venture-backed bio-medical companies, pharmacies, toxicology, blood, and genetic labs. Jason also serves on the board as Chief Commercial Officer of Precision Health Resources of Texas, LLC.

Jason is also the principal and co-founder of Blueskin Ventures, LLC, a venture fund with a focus on biomedical innovations and real estate holdings.

He recently divested his interest in Elevated Capital Group, which owns and operates MyGenesRx, an international pharmacogenetic reporting company which he co-founded, and served as President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Following graduation from UNT with his BBA, Jason started his career with Medline Industries and later used his cardiovascular experience to launch Integrilin with Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals. He then worked with Guidant Corporation’s Rhythm Management/Pacemaker division, followed by Edwards Lifesciences in a senior sales capacity to launch their peripheral vascular division.

After C.R. Bard, Inc. purchased Edwards’ peripheral vascular division, Jason was asked to stay on board to help train and transition the national sales representatives on the new technology. This success led to sales and clinical leadership roles for innovative venture-backed vascular device start-up companies such as CSI (Cardiovascular Systems, Inc), Avinger Inc, and Mercator MedSystems.

Jason has been fortunate to since expand these successes and relationships into immense specialty pharmacy, genetics, and toxicology businesses, developing distribution channels nationally.
